About me

I have dedicated 12 years to working in supportive roles for people experiencing mental illness, Autism, and learning disabilities. My experience has encompassed a variety of settings, including managerial positions within supported living services and mental health coaching in GP surgeries. Throughout my counselling training, I have had the opportunity to work directly with individuals facing addiction, as well as those diagnosed with ADHD and Autism. Additionally, I have supported clients dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, and complex issues related to personal identity. This diverse experience has enriched my understanding and ability to provide compassionate, effective support.

I deeply value being an inclusive practitioner and consistently reflect on how my own complex intersectional identity might present itself within the counselling room when working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I am committed to creating and maintaining a space that feels genuinely open, curious, and supportive.

I have successfully completed full training in integrative counselling and I am currently a trainee member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). This status indicates that I have accumulated a minimum of 250 hours of supervised practice, although I have not yet reached the 450 hours required for full professional registration.
